I highly recommend this cottage. The peaceful location, just a short 7-minute drive from Bakewell Showgrounds, was perfect for our stay. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a welcome pack and later the lovely owner, Joy, popped in to say hi. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations - spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. We loved the gates on the second bedroom for added peace of mind. Another great feature was the designated parking spot right next to it. our experience was fantastic - perfect location, warm hospitality, and comfort.

We had a fantastic stay at Old Stables Villa in the peaceful countryside just a short drive from Bakewell. the cottage exceeded our expectations with its spacious and tastefully decorated interior. We particularly appreciated the gates on the second bedroom, providing peace of mind for our toddler. Joy, the owner, was incredibly helpful and provided us with all the necessary local information, including taxi services and bus schedules. the designated parking spot was also a great convenience. it was a perfect choice for exploring the beautiful Bakewell trails. Cons: Hard to think of anything 🤔.

Getting to Bakewell from the cottage was a quick with a taxi costing £9. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a welcome pack and later lovely owner, Joy, popped in to say hi. Joy was incredibly helpful and provided us with information about local taxis, including prices and contact numbers, as well as bus schedule. We did have some difficulty finding the place initially, but a quick call to Joy resolved the issue, as there is no signal or internet in the area. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Big plus for us was the gates on the second bedroom, which gave us peace of mind knowing that our toddler couldn't wander around at night. We had an amazing stay at the Old Stables in Bakewell. The owner, Joy, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing a welcome pack and a special gift for our puppy. The house itself was lovely, clean, and well-equipped, and the bathroom was absolutely stunning. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and hiking routes right on our doorstep. We even found a great pub just steps away. we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back!
